Global Asset Manager, $3.4T+ AUM: (State Street Bank) Served as the client implementation lead and performance attribution subject matter expert responsible for leading the client solution design and conversion approach to an outsourcing platform to provide investment accounting, reference data, performance measurement, and attribution services. Collaborated with the client, primary outsourcing vendor, and third-party data providers to ensure timely deliverables.
Global Asset Manager, $7.2T+ AUM: (Vanguard Group) Client sought to transform its global operating model and data infrastructure to scale efficiently with uncompromised quality to provide flexibility in client service. Defined and executed a data distribution and delivery model to consolidate and centralize all ABOR Hub data onto Eagle Data Management, leveraging Eagle utilities, including EagleML. Upon completion of the EDM project, John participated as a SME in the associated performance implementation project, including innovative methodologies requiring various bespoke calculations. Custom methodologies were created to aggregate data supporting the new methodologies. Consulted on creating automated data movement/transformation, performance calculations, and workflows. He documented custom configurations and training guides and provided formal training to the Performance Analysis and Attribution team.
Asset Manager, $325B AUM: (Dodge and Cox) Led the conversion of all the client’s funds and separately managed accounts to Eagle Performance. Included the complete automation of all processes to support performance. Engagement included customizing and implementing Eagle’s Enrichment Product to provide accurate futures and other derivatives performance calculations.
Global Asset Manager, $4.1T+ AUM: (State Street Global Advisors) Served as a Project Manager and Performance, Attribution, and GIPS subject matter expert responsible for successfully implementing StatProComposites (Confluence) for several thousand GIPS Composites. John also provided process and workflow analysis of the client’s complex mandates and recommendations for converting to SS&C Anova.
